At Mad Macs (our San Diego Store Name), we know what we're doing, and we usually have the necessary parts in stock. Whether your system needs an upgradxe, a back-up, or a complete diagnostic, we're here to help with computer repair and Macintosh computer repair. Mad Computing / Mad Macs is your San Diego computer service specialist.

Our staff can handle most computer repairs. To help keep our service fees low, our technicians cannot handle your issue over the telephone nor can they provide support. Like automobile technicians and doctors, we really need to see your computer to be able to diagnose your issue accurately. For your convenience, these are just some of the computer repair and Macintosh computer repair services available at Mad Computing:

Basic Repairs

Our minimum repair/diagnostic fee is $75.00. This diagnostic fee is applicable toward your first hour of labor and most repairs are completed within this inital time. Turnaround for your repair averages between 3-4 business days.

Data backup

Data Backup onto CD, Zip: $75 minimum (1st hour included), $75 per additional hour. Media extra: CDs @ $2.00 each, Zip 100 Disks @ $10.00 each, Zip 250 Disks @ $17.00 each.

iMac/ Powerbook repair

iMac analog board exchanges -- $149, plus labor We service all Powerbooks . Screens, hard drives, CDs, keyboards… Normal turnaround time is between 2-4 days.

Memory Upgrades

$35-$50 labor for most computers, plus memory.

Rush Repairs

This service puts your computer on the bench RIGHT AFTER technicians have finished what they are currently working on. Turnaround time varies depending on problem and difficulty, but most repairs are concluded same day, or within 1 day. Rush repair - A FLAT, ADDITIONAL RATE OF $50.00 over normal service charge.
